Kim Kardashian is in some hot water! Her company, Kimsaprincess Inc. & LuMee were slapped with a patent infringement lawsuit on Monday. Snap Light is suing them for $100 million with claims that they invented the first illuminated smartphone case. According to Snap Light, Hooshmand Harooni filed the patent in 2013 & licensed his invention to the company. LeMee is accused of ripping off their product & claim Kardashian is robbing them of profits because she endorses the phone case on social media. Snaplight and Harooni claim they haven’t been able to compete in the illuminated selfie case market because of Kardashian’s endorsement of LuMee. They are also asking for $100 million in damages to make up for their lost profits. Kardashian’s rep issued a statement to TMZ regarding the lawsuit. ‘The patent lawsuit filed by Snap Light has no merit and is just another attempted shakedown. Kim has done absolutely nothing wrong,’ the spokesperson said of the litigation.
