G-Eazy was reportedly arrested in Sweden on suspicion of assault, following a brawl that apparently broke out at a nightclub. G-Eazy aka Gerald Earl Gilliam, was at a nightclub following a performance Wednesday in Stockholm. Gilliam was at the club with singer and girlfriend Halsey and artist Sean Kingston when a fight erupted. G-Eazy allegedly hit an official during this fight, and now a Swedish prosecutor is asking he be detained, claiming the rapper is a flight risk. “I consider him to be under strong suspicion of violence against a public servant,” said prosecutor Carl Mellberg. Mellberg wanted the rapper detained, and added G-Eazy could “flee or in others way seek to avoid prosecution or punishment” if released. TMZ reported its sources said G-Eazy was “acting belligerent” at the club and when security guards asked him to calm down, the rapper began throwing punches and struck a guard several times in the face. TMZ said G-Eazy was also being detained for cocaine possession, although reports in Swedish media did not confirm that.
